Is this another bull trap?

Bitcoin (BTC) has quietly pushed higher this week, climbing toward the $84,000 mark with low volatility and consistent daily closes in the green. While the price action hasn’t been explosive, the slow grind upwards suggests strong accumulation—particularly near the $83K–$85K range. Traders are eyeing $85,000 as a psychological breakout zone. If BTC can decisively move above this, it may open the door to retests of $90K and beyond, with some analysts pointing to $100K+ targets for later in the year if macro conditions stay supportive.

Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) continues to underperform relative to Bitcoin and other majors. Despite a slight uptick this week (+2.25%), ETH is still hovering in the $1,500–$1,600 range, unable to break through the key $1,700 resistance. Many in the market are questioning whether the delay in Ethereum ETF approvals and the shift of attention toward Bitcoin are contributing to the lag.
